We may also recommend using Tooth Mousse for two weeks before your appointment to help prepare the teeth. This product contains milk protein and is not suitable for patients with a dairy allergy — please tell your dentist if this applies to you.
Whitening is not suitable for everyone. It may not be appropriate for patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have untreated decay or gum disease, or have certain existing dental work. Your dentist will discuss this with you.
As with any dental treatment, teeth whitening carries some risk of side effects. The most commonly reported are:
