Anxiety relieving medication (oral tablets)

Anxiety relieving oral medications can be prescribed by our dentist to help an anxious and nervous patient relax. A small single dose is usually taken one hour before your dental appointment.

Medication should only be taken following a consultation with our dentist. You will need someone to accompany you to and from the dental visit as you cannot safely drive a car while under the influence of anti-anxiety (anxiolytic) medication.
